Concluding the “Institutionally Sound” blog postings

I started this blog in January of 2018 and it has been a good run, at least for me:   an opportunity to reflect on a whole range of issues and questions with regard to institutions and organizational leadership.    But I have decided, with this posting, to draw this to a close.  

My focus will shift to another blog – “The Christian Mind:  Learning to Think Christian-ly”.  These postings will not be found on the Institutions Matter website, but rather on the webpage of the institution where I serve as the president:  Ambrose University.   The blog will explore what it means to think through the lens of the Christian faith, but more that that, it will be a venue where I hope to make a case for the importance of the Christian intellectual life, and the place of the mind and critical thinking in the life of the church and the society.   And I plan to identify threats to the Christian mind and speak to these as a way to show why each is a problem.  But the main focus will be the importance of learning to think Christian-ly – and a consideration of what it means to as such think critically, confidently, creatively and compassionately.
